What is the ideal time to start a detox? I believe it can be anytime! However, with the holiday season fast approaching, it often means indulging in festive foods and celebratory drinks. Now is the perfect moment to focus on enhancing your liver and digestive health in preparation for the festivities! Detoxing is also an excellent strategy to kick off the new year feeling healthier.
To evaluate the differences between detox supplements available in powder, liquid, and tablet formats, I sampled FOODOLOGY’s Coleology Tea, grn+’s Pink 3 Days Season 2, and grn+’s Pink Slim Balance & Biotin over the course of a week each. Discover which variant offered the most effective detox cleanse for my body, and which one I preferred!

What it is:
This drink powder is certified by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and MFDS (Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety), provided in a box containing 15 sachets. Each sachet consists of 120g of pink powder (totaling 8,000g) that includes 500mg of coleus forskohlii extract containing forskolin for body fat reduction, 150mg of ginkgo biloba extract for enhanced blood circulation, and prebiotics such as fructooligosaccharide (FOS) for gut health. The tea also includes various amino acids and Vitamin C to boost immune function and other bodily processes. It is flavored with sweet pomegranate. Be aware that it contains a trace amount of caffeine derived from coffee bean extract.
Dosage:
Mix one sachet daily with 300-500ml of cold water. FOODOLOGY also offers a 500ml BPA-free clear plastic bottle with a scale marker that can endure temperatures between -30°C and 100°C, available separately.
My take:
Despite being advertised as a pomegranate flavor, I found the drink to be slightly bitter, likely due to natural herbal ingredients like coleus forskohlii and ginkgo. The bitterness appears to result from the dark sediment found in the drink. I recommend mixing the powder with the recommended amount of water and shaking it well before consuming to ensure the sediment is not left behind. Alternatively, mixing the powder with something sweet like soda or yogurt can help balance the bitterness. The powder dissolves easily in cold water.
One reason for my selection of this product was that I also purchased FOODOLOGY’s 500ml bottle, featuring a metallic red cap, which made the red detox drink look even more festive. Just the sight of it motivated me to drink more fluids. As a laxative, Coleology Tea performed adequately—the effects became more noticeable around the third or fourth day, so patience is key. The peristalsis was gentle and natural. Despite my usual weight fluctuations, I lost about a pound during the one-week trial with Coleology Tea.
Additionally, FOODOLOGY offers Coleology Cutting in tablet and jelly forms, with different ingredients that provide various benefits, yet both support weight management and increased bowel movement.

What it is:
This pack includes three 100ml pink bottled drinks certified by GMP and MFDS. Each drink contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA) from garcinia cambogia, which helps regulate weight by inhibiting the conversion of carbohydrates into fat. The beverage is enhanced with niacin (Vitamin B3) and riboflavin (Vitamin B2) for boosting energy levels and metabolism. Additionally, it contains fructooligosaccharide and prune concentrate for digestive health, with a delightful sweet and sour grape flavor thanks to red grape concentrate.
Dosage:
Consume one bottle daily for three consecutive days.
My take:
Among the three supplements, this liquid option from grn+ was the most enjoyable—I couldn’t get enough! The mix of red grapes, prunes, and sorbitol gave it the flavor of natural concentrated fruit juice, making it easy to drink. However, it functions similarly to prune juice, leading to sudden and intense bowel movements three to four hours post-ingestion. This can be a bit embarrassing if you’re in a meeting! Since it acts as a strong laxative, I recommend enjoying it at home and allowing time for its effects to manifest.
grn+ also offers an apple-flavored Green 3 Days Season 2, formulated to support digestive health and fulfill nutritional needs during dieting.

What it is:
Also produced by grn+ and certified by GMP, MFDS, and KHSA (Korea Health Functional Food Association), the Pink Slim Balance & Biotin comes in a pink-and-white pill-shaped container holding 90 almond-colored tablets. Each 900mg tablet contains 750mg of HCA to prevent the conversion of carbohydrates into fat, and an impressive 3,333% of the recommended daily intake of biotin (Vitamin B7) to aid in breaking down amino acids, fats, and carbohydrates from food. As a water-soluble vitamin, excess biotin is naturally expelled from the body. The tablets are also fortified with Vitamins B1, B2, B5, and B6 to promote health.
Dosage:
Take one tablet with water prior to each meal, three times a day.
My take:
These tasteless tablets are the easiest to carry, consume, and store among the three supplements I trialed, although they need to be taken before each meal three times daily. They stimulated bowel movement without abruptly disrupting my daily routine or causing discomfort. The only downside was that it felt like taking daily medication, and I occasionally forgot to take them before meals.
grn+ also provides the Green Slim Balance & Smooth Bowels, which can be taken twice daily post-meals for weight management and digestive health support. The Pink Slim Balance & Biotin and Green Slim Balance & Smooth Bowels can be used together.
The Verdict
All three products claim to promote weight loss, and I managed to lose 1 kg after three weeks of utilizing these supplements. Given the short duration of the trial, the results weren’t drastic. I also believe results would improve with regular exercise and a well-rounded diet. Nevertheless, my constipation has improved, especially after incorporating the Pink Slim Balance & Biotin, which provided the most reliable laxative effect, alleviating my worries about sudden stomach issues.
FOODOLOGY’s Coleology Tea lasts for 15 days, grn+’s Pink 3 Days Season 2 for three days, and grn+’s Pink Slim Balance & Biotin for 30 days. The Pink Slim Balance & Biotin emerges as the most economical and practical option, despite my dislike for swallowing bland pills three times a day. FOODOLOGY’s Coleology Tea will appeal to those who prefer less sweet supplements that aid in increasing daily water intake. Pink 3 Days Season 2 is undoubtedly the tastiest among the trio and can function as a guilt-free treat at the day’s end.
