Elevating My Daily Skincare Routine with 4 K-Beauty Booster Products – THE Sugarblossomdiary

Although my current skincare regimen is functional, it primarily focuses on hydration and soothing properties rather than helping me achieve long-term skin goals like a vibrant glow. My sensitivity to skin issues such as redness and irritation makes me cautious about using stronger anti-aging formulations, leaving other concerns like dullness, sagging, and enlarged pores unaddressed.

To enhance my skincare routine, I’m bringing in four K-Beauty boosters for transformative improvements. From a bio-microneedling-inspired moisturizer to blackhead-removing nose pads, these products are selected for their potential to add significant benefits—whether boosting firmness over time or providing immediate brightening care. A key feature of these additions? They are all noted for being friendly to sensitive skin.

Keep reading to discover if Isntree’s Onion Newpair Booster Shot 2000, ONE THING’s Witch Hazel Blackhead Cleaner, ONE THING’s Silky Nose Pad, and mixsoon’s Niacinamide Powder revitalized my skin after two weeks of use.

Product Overview: This lotion-type booster is designed for skin revitalization and serves as a natural alternative to microneedling by employing sponge-derived spicules to enhance the penetration of active ingredients. It contains three booster “shots” (spicules infused with hyaluronic acid, collagen, and panthenol), which are quickly delivered into the skin to promote cell regeneration along with hydrating and anti-aging effects. In addition, Muan red onion extract works together with these “shots” to expedite and enhance absorption. However, products with spicules might cause slight stinging upon first application, which could be a concern for those with sensitive skin or compromised skin barriers. For optimal results, avoid using during the day.

Insights: I’ve always been interested in trying VT’s popular Reedle Shot, and the Isntree version appears to be a close alternative. Promoted as a gentler option to microneedling, the Onion Newpair Booster Shot 2000 claims to enhance collagen production, stimulate skin cell renewal, and improve hydration without causing irritation.

The results were subtle yet significant. Midway through the trial, my skin appeared clearer, brighter, and smoother, though some rough patches remained. By the end of the evaluation period, the changes were more substantial. This Isntree formula may be an excellent alternative to chemical exfoliants for rejuvenating the skin, seemingly perfectly crafted to meet my current needs. I’m eager to combine the Onion Newpair Booster Shot 2000 with a bakuchiol serum to enhance my anti-aging regimen.

Product Description: Targeted at blackhead care, the Witch Hazel Blackhead Cleaner, containing 20% witch hazel, effectively removes impurities from pores while also smoothing, softening, and hydrating the skin. It includes additional hydrating and soothing ingredients like panthenol and beta-glucan to minimize irritation and strengthen the skin over time. Best used in conjunction with ONE THING’s Silky Nose Pad for an effective exfoliation session, this water-based Blackhead Cleaner absorbs easily into the skin, refreshing the pores. The Silky Nose Pad features slits on the sides for better grip and breathability.

Insights: Although I occasionally struggle with blackheads, my main issue is the persisting clogged pores on my nose, which often feel greasy and appear tinged with gray. This antibacterial, pore-purifying combination could provide a thorough detox for my nose’s skin. Initially, I was concerned that the witch hazel-heavy Blackhead Cleaner might irritate my sensitive skin, but it turned out to be quite gentle.

My feelings about this pair are mixed. While my pores appeared less enlarged after regular use, I was somewhat disheartened that a Q-tip wasn’t able to extract all the debris in one attempt. Nonetheless, my nose’s appearance improved post-test, looking softer and brighter, and the ritual was quite pleasant due to the cooling sensation of the Witch Hazel Blackhead Cleaner.

Booster #3: Focusing on Brightening
mixsoon – Niacinamide Powder

Product Overview: Niacinamide is renowned for its brightening effects and is often incorporated into various toners, serums, and creams. This K-Beauty booster, featuring a pure form of niacinamide along with barrier-repairing ceramides, is an excellent add-on to any hydrating or brightening skincare regimen, especially for those dealing with dark spots, hyperpigmentation, or uneven skin tone. It dissolves easily into water-based formulations, allowing customization of the niacinamide dose. Offered in practical sachets designed for convenience, each pack contains ten sachets. For safety and effectiveness, avoid mixing it with exfoliating acids (AHAs, BHAs, PHAs), Vitamin C products, or any formulation with pH levels below 5 or above 7.

Insights: I was excited to discover that I could create a personalized niacinamide serum, essence, or cream by integrating this powder. From the start, it was apparent that even a small scoop of the Niacinamide Powder in a compatible product could yield noticeable outcomes, enhancing glow or mattifying the skin. Although the results varied throughout the testing period, regular use with my hyaluronic serum and cream gradually made my skin appear more radiant. The only downside is the time and effort involved in integrating it into my routine, as creating a custom blend requires precise calibration and additional steps. The Niacinamide Powder effectively clarifies and brightens my skin, but I will likely use it sporadically rather than as a staple in my routine.

The Finale:

I was quite pleased with all four products trialed over the two-week period, although I certainly have my favorites. The lightweight yet effective Onion Newpair Booster Shot from Isntree clearly stands out as the best match for my current skincare needs—just as gentle as claimed.

While the Witch Hazel Blackhead Cleaner and Silky Nose Pad significantly improved my pore care routine, they didn’t completely eliminate my blackheads in one application. Nevertheless, the ONE THING duo felt refreshing on my skin, particularly due to the ergonomic design of the nose pad.

Using mixsoon’s Niacinamide Powder over these two weeks demonstrated that this trending item is indeed more than just a gimmick. However, due to the laborious mixing process, it’s unlikely to become a regular feature in my skincare regimen. It’s perfect for ingredient enthusiasts and aspiring cosmetic chemists, but perhaps a bit too detailed for someone like me who appreciates simplicity.
