Peach Fuzz: A Beautiful Makeup Look Inspired by Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year – THE Sugarblossomdiary

It’s that moment of the year again when the renowned color institute, Pantone, reveals its much-awaited Color of the Year, influencing various trends across multiple industries. For 2024, the title is awarded to Peach Fuzz, a comforting and warm peachy tone that, as per Pantone’s statement, “embodies our wish to nurture ourselves and others.”

In my makeup routine, I generally favor two distinct styles: the natural “no makeup” makeup look or a timeless winged eyeliner appearance. However, with the increasing popularity of peach-toned makeup, I’ve decided to step outside of my usual comfort zone and explore beauty products featuring soft pink and orange shades.

While rosy-hued makeup undoubtedly brings a classic and sweet elegance, peachy makeup radiates a more youthful and angelic vibe. To create my very own airy Peach Fuzz-inspired look, I selected a few K-Beauty products!

Though apricots aren’t peaches, they do share a few characteristics. Both stone fruits possess a soft and warm orange hue. The CORINGCO Recipe Note Eyeshadow Palette in #02 Almond Apricot Cake showcases seven richly pigmented shades, featuring both matte and shimmery finishes.

The #02 Almond Apricot Cake palette draws inspiration from apricot tones, featuring shades like peachy corals. Pair these colors with one or more of the palette’s nutty browns for a unified eye makeup look. The palette is also available in #01 Flat Peach Pie, which includes shades in pink peach tones.

Peach blushes have always been a favorite in the beauty world, as they flatter a variety of skin tones. For a gentle peach blush, consider Peach C’s Cheerful Blusher in shade #02 Peachful! This finely milled powder provides excellent color payoff and blends beautifully for a natural flush.

ETUDE’s Fixing Tint Bar offers a highly pigmented matte lipstick that delivers enduring color. Infused with hydrating ingredients like jojoba seed oil, ceresin, and tocopherol, it keeps lips soft, moisturized, and plump for hours. The formula slides on smoothly and eventually settles into a matte finish!

For this look, I selected the Fixing Tint Bar in shade #03 Milk Caramel, a rich terracotta hue that beautifully complements peachy makeup.

For a lustrous lip look, try MACQUEEN’s Dewy Water Glow Lip Tint, which provides a sheer wash of color and gloss. Its lightweight texture adheres effortlessly, delivering a non-sticky finish.

Final Look and Thoughts

At first, I was skeptical about whether a peachy orange-toned makeup look would complement my olive-toned skin, but my doubts were dispelled.
